28 Weeks Old!
You lovie the Baby Mum Mum snacks! You are super chill and laugh a lot. You think Addie is so funny and she kisses and hugs you a lot. You say "Da da da da" and other fun noises. You put everything in your mouth and like to play with stacking cups and your teething toys. You bite your fingers too. No teefers yet though.

25 Weeks
I thought you would be a serious spirit, but it looks like you may be as silly as the rest of us. I just love it! Sometimes you laugh because you think something is funny or because we give you zerberts you on the belly and cheeks. You have just really found your fingers and will just sort of look at them as if thinking..."Hmmm, wonder what these do?" You like food a bit better, but still spit a lot of it out. Addie has been helping me make your baby food and picks out your bib, spoon and bowl each time you eat.

5 months
Papa had back surgery last week, so there was lots going on. I took you and Addie to the zoo, right next to the hospital one afternoon. You slept through most of it (pictured below), but were such a sport about the whole trip. Everyone who saw you thought you were fun and adorable. One of Papa's nurses said that she wanted to squeeze your cheeks and "get that sugar and syrup." Another lady called you "juicy." You squealed so much on this trip...telling us lots of stories and making Papa smile. You have been sticking out your tongue a lot and are finding your feet.
You also tried rice cereal. You don't like it at all. Everytime I give you a bit, you caugh and make a horrible face.

Spa 101
I took you to a baby massage class. We already have had a bit of a massage ritual after bath, but I have forgotten a lot since your sister was tiny. The teacher helped me massage your tummy...which, by the way, is much better these days. You love getting massages. You squeal and smile when I rub your feet and face.

19 Weeks Old!
Daddy calls you a momma's boy, and well...you are! I know that this is just the way God made you and soon you'll need your Daddy more than me. So, I'm just enjoying this time. You're my buddy because you laugh at my jokes, like to hang out and think I'm a good singer.:O) You laugh now when you think something is funny. These 'little' things make your Dad and I bubble up with joy. You are loved, Son. I pray for you and Addie every day and thank God you are healthy and with us.

18 Weeks
You had your 4 month check up yesterday. You were as healthy as a little horse and weighed in at 15 lbs. and are 25.5 inches long. The shots were rough and gave you a small fever, so we just spent the day together, with lots of holding and kisses. You seem much more interested in things around you. You try to put your links and keys (or anything you can hold) in your mouth. You sometimes hum softly to soothe yourself before falling asleep. I did this as a little girl too. It is great fun to see you grow and change!

16 weeks Old!
Hands! You really like them. You have started to laugh this week and it is sooo cute! When we tickle your ribs, you let out this big laugh that sounds like a cross between a cough and a chicken cluck.

15 Weeks Old
Sleeping on your tummy is your favorite.
You met your Great Grandma K last weekend. Daddy took a picture on his phone and it was a precious moment...the two of you sort of locked eyes and said a wonderful hello, without saying a word. She has Alzheimer's now. When she saw you she said that you were "pretty" and "smart". She also said that I should make you mind. She really loved seeing you. The first time she saw your sister, she said she was pretty too. She looked at her toes and said, "T-o-e-s, toes." She is an amazing woman. She got a college education when many woman didn't, taught school and devoted her life to her family, serving God and helping others. She had a silly sense of humor like Papa. Your sister and I are named after her and your middle name partially comes from Great Grandpa K's side of the family. I can't wait to tell you more about her when you get older.

8 pm to 4 am
That is the amount of time in a workday, the amount of time it takes to drive to south Texas and the amount of time you slept last night.....all at once...in a row, 8 whole hours. That is a sleeping record for you. Great job, little guy!

10 Weeks Old!
Smiles and smiles! I love your smiles! You have been cooing a little too. It's a good thing you like baths because you have a lot of lint collection sites.:O) I call you my "little associate" because I have been taking you to the store with me a few days a week. You help me pay bills and sometimes I put you in the baby bjorn and we go marketing. I'm funny about smells and so is your sister (sometimes she asks people if she can smell their cars). Anyway, I love how you smell. You smell kind of like your dad. I thank God for you and pray he will give you a happy, healthy life.

You are a sweet pea! You love baths now and still have pretty blue eyes. When you are fussy, going outside makes you feel better. Grams said your Dad liked that too. If we are driving, we just roll the window down and it almost always soothes you....maybe that means you'll like the outdoors or want a convertible??

6 Weeks Old!
You had a hot lunch date with Ms. Holly (even though you slept right through it). You seem like you have grown a lot this week and are sleeping in your pack n' play better...less with us. You are a snuggle bug, like your sister. People tell us a lot that you are beautiful and perfect. It is very sweet and, of course, we think so. You also got to meet your great grandma. You get your red hair from her side. She doesn't have red hair, but she is still a little sassy.

4 Weeks Old!
We call you the Rooter, Tooter because you are always grunting and tooting (even when you are sleeping). It is so funny! You still have the startle reflex and sometimes look at us with just one eye. We call that the pirate, which your sister loves. She did the same thing. You also make this funny face after you eat, while stretching out. You mush your face and make funny lips...we call this the Mr. Magoo face. Addie did it too. I can't get a pic of you doing it yet though. You eat and sleep a lot. This week we figured out that when I drink milk, it hurts your tummy. So no more cow's milk for mom.
