2 Weeks Old!

Your umbilical cord fell off today. I'm glad because Papa calls it beef jerky and I think that is kinda gross. You are more alert now and love to be held. You have the hiccups and sneeze a lot! You are pretty strong and try to hold your head up. Even though we don't sleep a lot, we love having you here.

More Pictures...

Our Little One...

Oh how we have waited to meet you. I have to admit, I was a little nervous when we found out we you were a boy. I just don't know much about little boys, but I wouldn't trade you for a lifetime of free spa! You are precious and sweet spirited, soft and so little. Here is a bit of your life so far...Here I am just before we left for the hospital. The picture is a little blurry because it was really early and neither your Dad nor I slept much the night before. My tummy was bigger with you than your sister. Reina made a belly cast of it the night before. Your Dad is terrified I will hang it up somewhere, like the living room, or that Reina will make a glass lamp out of it.

Here we are just after you were born. I had a c-section, so I was kind of loopy in this picture. I was nervous before, but your Daddy made me laugh and gave me some really pretty jewelry after you were born.
You had red hair and blue eyes when you were born. You weighed 7 lbs, 12 ounces and were 20.5 inches long. You are named after your Dad and both grandpas. Lots of sweet people came to meet you and visit.

You and your big sis.

Here you are with Daddy, watching your first Razorback baseball game in the hospital. I told him you were too little to watch the RBI girls.
